Nosler 28 Reloading

I have not tested it yet in anything although I have a bunch. Weather, to include the infamous Wy winds, will not allow me to do so.

I got big game for Maddie’s 7-08 and found it to be temp sensitive, but not to the extremes I’ve heard about some of these spherical powders, magnum and grand being two big ones.

I've heard (never tested this) it's very temperamental to ambient temp swings. You essentially have to load it in the same conditions you plan to shoot. Is it really that bad though?

Ramshot Grand indicates right on the bottle that it is "Temperature Stable". I've been using it for a year now and have never noticed any temperature sensitivity. Grand burns slower than H1000 IME and burns about the same as RETUMBO.

You don't notice any swings in the hot temps compared to the cold? That's awesome! It certainly seems to have some interest amongst reloaders

I've had some pretty good luck with N570 in mine with a 180 VLD. I'm going to try and work up a load with the 175 ABLR here soon. Will start with Retumbo and N570.

Man! N570 is an awesome powder but it burns HOT!!!!!! It will eat up your throat quicker than just about anything out there. I did some research and this is what a lot of shooters are saying.

N568 is much milder on the throat, and maybe 50fps slower, this is from a builder/friend who also excels in F-Class.

Have you chronographed it in various temps?
