The 300 savage is a very popular gun/round in Maine. Alot of the oldtimers still swear by this caliber. Plus the gun just plain looks cool. My boss still hunts with his 300 he's had for 50 some odd years. He recently put a scope on it, he couldn't see the front sight threw the peep any longer...

Do these two powders have the same burn rates? Are they the same type powders made by two different companies or am I way off here? I see alot of you using H4350 and don't see much IMR.

I have some Cabela's brass polish(liquid form). I'm wondering if it's ok to polish brass by hand, a small amount of polish gets into the mouth of the case. That shouldn't affect the powder, right? I clean it out best I can. Also polishing some tarnished nosler partitions before loading won't...

I'm knew to reloading and Nosler forum, first post. My first question is, I'm loading 270wsm 130gr BT's. Using Nosler book minimum load 59gr. of IMR 4350, the book calls for WLRM primers but I have CCI Mag primers. Which primer creates more pressure? Using CCI primer should I start lower...
