Polishing brass?

I have some Cabela's brass polish(liquid form). I'm wondering if it's ok to polish brass by hand, a small amount of polish gets into the mouth of the case. That shouldn't affect the powder, right? I clean it out best I can. Also polishing some tarnished nosler partitions before loading won't hurt anything right?

Thanks.

MaineGuide35,

As a rule of thumb, I don't like to introduce any foreign substance into the area that will have powder dumped into it. Use a Q-tip to swab the neck before dumping your powder and you'll be okay. Are you running a brush into the neck to remove loose carbon residue? If so, so this after polishing the outside and it will likely get any polish that may have gotten into the neck.

It will be fine. Clean brass and bullets is like a washed and waxed truck. It just looks good.
