I am having a hard time deciding which one to get. I am looking at a Remington Model 700 VSF .17 Remington Fireball or a Remington Model 700 SPS .204 Ruger. If I get the .204 I will also have to get a replacement stock because I don't like the factory one. Can everyone offer there opinion...

Finally got to shoot. The scope is mounted on a Remington Model 700 LSS Magnum in .257WBY Mag. I only shot about 20 rounds through it. It was shooting about .75 inch groups. Still in the process of breaking it in. I think it is going to be a good one.

JD338 How far off the lands are you. I can't get anywhere near the lands in my rifle.

I am reloading for my .22-250 (Rem 700 VLS), trying to work up to max load using Varget. Right now I am at 37 grains with no signs CCI and Federal primers and neck sized Remington brass and 50 grain Nosler Baliistic tips.

I took a measurement with my micrometer and it is only .001 over.

That means there is nothing to worry about?

I reloaded and shot some loads for my .22-250 today. After firing I noticed a slight bulge about a 1/4" up from the base of the case. What is this?

So I can just resize .243 brass with my .22-250 die? The gun has only had 50 or 60 rounds through it. How much would it cost to have the barrel setback and rechambered? The gun is not custom it is a Remington Model 700 VLS.

Does anyone have a load for 110 gr Accubond in 25-06 using RL-15? I don't see a published load anywhere but I use it in my 270 (110 grain Accubond) with good results.
