    Savage 99 F ?

    bear, As I recall the F was a model designator, and IIRC was the next in the series. Those rifles were chambered for newer higher pressure cartridges, mine was a .358 Win. They generally shoot well unless somebody has boogered the muzzle cleaning the rifle. Re-cutting the crown will fix this. jim

    Nitrex Scopes

    I had a couple of Nitrex optics to take a look at. They are Japanese built for the ATK folks, not the cheapest not the high end either. I used to shoot my .220 Swift with a Weaver K10, and the Nitrex was at least the equal of that scope and probably better. jim
