The absence in the market place

Well, I must be a special kind of dumb, lol. I currently have a 30 Nosler, 28 Nosler, 27 Nosler, 26 Nosler. I also have new 30, 28, and 27 Nosler barrels on the shelf waiting in line the shelf.

    6BR reach threshold

My current 6br barrel needs 20 rounds to start shooting tiny groups. It's a button rifled hand lapped Criterion, this bore is smooth as glass in the borescope. You'd expect a rough bore to behave like this, but it is what it is. And you just can't argue with results.

    Chronograph?

It's good for 5 to 9999 fps, so I'm sure it is. I didn't shoot pistols when I used mine...my how things have changed in three years.

    Chronograph?

https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/00094720002/ballistic-precision-chronograph-g2 This is my favorite optical chrono. I use a Labradar now so I can get my true BC for my bullets in my barrels. I will always keep my G2 in case of emergencies.

    Help me decide

I think so too. I appreciate it guys. I really didn't mean to get into pistols. I've always been hard core rifle guy all the way. I got a p365 about five months ago, I liked it a lot. Then a p365xl, then a p320 x full size, then this p320 from Sig Sauer custom shop! I think the...

    6BR reach threshold

I think the guy is shooting a 243 Winchester. You should get north of 2000 rounds out of a 6br if you want it to shoot in .2 moa area. If .5 moa is ok with you, it will last 3000 or way more.

    Help me decide

Yes, I own both. I just changed them out. The thickness is the same. One is laser stippled but I can barely tell the difference.

    6BR reach threshold

https://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj_drift-5.1.cgi Enter your data here, be sure to pay attention to the MACH column. My 6BR with 105 Berger boat tails shot fantastic at 1000, 2920 fps MV. I did have trouble at 1100 but I bet my dope was off and it was past dusk.

    ABLR close distance performance

I will be done firing my virgin brass and breaking-in a 270wsm barrel soon. In my experience with 270wsm, the 150gr bullets like to run between 3150 to 3250 fps. My history with this cartridge is with 150 vld and ballistic tips but have never hunted with 150 ABLR. I'm pretty sure they are a...

    Quickload 270 WSM

Yeah, rl19 seems just about right for 110gr.

    Quickload 270 WSM

I've found that Reloder 26 is perfect for 150gr bullets in 270wsm. It is a little too slow burning for 140gr bullets. I would suggest Reloder 23 or especially 7828 for light bullets. Probably anything within this range is where I'd start.

Powder....making it's way back and the state overall of components

I have noticed Retumbo shows up in a year and a half or two year cycles. It showed up this late spring and early summer. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

    Those Were The Days

Damn right, every single thing has increased substantially since the government decided to just print TRILLIONS ( one million- million) dollars. Components have increased 200% to 300%. No one's wages have increased anywhere near 50% much less 300%. Everyone is much much poorer than we were 2...

    Barrel break in.

In a barrel like that I'd use Tubb Final finish. If that don't break-in a rough barrel I don't know what will.
