I don’t know what Gen a G48 is but I have a new one and it fits very well. I wear a size large glove. My wife is petite and she also finds it very useable. I’m thinking about buying a 43X to match it.
Good for you guys for pushing through. My mom suffers from fibromyalgia also. Lives in incredible pain. She’s thinking about trying some pot for it, and that is a real stretch coming from her Southern Baptist upbringing.
Good shooting to you and your wife.
20yr is a long time to guide. I burned out in 12. I would have been intolerable for 8 more. My hat is off to you my friend.
Sorry about the pup. They really become a part of us. We have a 1.5y/o yellow, he’s a total idiot but we love him.
We cut our own stuff up too. No other options. I cull pretty heavily, I’d rather have a decent amount of good stuff than a lot of crap. We make a lot of burger and loose sausage as none of us at my house are interested in tough dry roasts. Burger is always used up. Steak the back straps and...

Handled a G48 at the Sportsman’s on my annual trip to the big village. I’ve been wanting a Commander size 9mm but they are scarce and anything quality is crazy expensive. Since I gave my XD9 to my son, need something to feed the ammo to. So, instead of paying sales tax to a city I do not live...
We used some of that carne asada that comes pre-marinated from Costco and made some smoked jerky with it. Not a fiscally-sensible exercise but man is it good!

I found an old book with some 150gr data. 4320 powder and 3031. I have neither. I have a glut of H322 and H335. Seems like one of those is close. No one on the Hammer forum has anything for it either.
I have a .338 Federal on a Tikka T3X action with an XCaliber barrel. It’s throated longer than SAAMI to get the 210gr Partition out to 3.0. It groups well with the factory 200gr Federal Fusion, and I have had very, very encouraging experience accuracy-wise with the 186gr Shock Hammer from...
