I got the A-bolt Medallion. I got laid off in January but found a new job and currently I am out of state for the next 6 weeks for training. When I get back I should have a new toy waiting and then i will post a picture and give a range report. I thought about starting with IMR4350 and...
I will have plenty of time to do some load testing. I promised myself a trip for completing my college degree. I have until june 2010. In the mean time I will be load testing and getting used to the gun.

Hey Guys,
I ordered the 375 H&H today. I was really impressed with Brownings service. I did have to add a little money but I'll have to stop eating fast food for the week. Although they were out of stock they will ship me my new gun as soon as they get there new shipment in.

The biggest magnum is a 30-378 weatherby and a 270 weatherby mag, 454 cassull. I have plenty of varmint guns 222,22-250,243, Medium game 270win 270mag 30-06. 35rem, I have been to Alaska 12 times and just might try hunting there one of these times. When I get done with night school My gift to...
I bought a .222 browning A-bolt last week and have a 22-250 and a 243 that I use for the p dogs. The only reason I bought the 223wssm was the price 350.00.

I am leaning on the 375. In a couple of years I would like to go to Africa to Hunt and I do have a 30-378 which should handle any plains animals. I just don't have that really big bore and thats the biggest browning has to offer with my credit.

Guys,
If you were givin an opportunity to get any gun from a manufactorer what caliber would you get? I had the dreaded .223 Wssm and they cannot fix it. They said to pick out any gun I wanted. They gave me a generous credit. I have all the calibers up to .308 . I want a big caliber to play...
Thanks for the replys, I did run to sportsmans and they were all out of brass and powder they only had H4198 so I bought it. Called around to a couple of reloading stores and no brass and bullets. although I still have 40 and 50bts but not in big quantity. I will have to run to cabela's...
Hi guys,
I kept saying I was going to buy one for the last 22 years and I finally did it. I bought a 222 browning A bolt varminter in the camo pattern. I have zero experience on this round. I have a 22-250, 223 wssm and a 243 for varmints but always wanted the triple deuce. I have plenty of...
Does anybody have a favorite powder and why. I have been using RL19, RL25, and IMR7828. All powders work great for the bullets I have selected. Each powder only likes one type of bullet.
RL19 likes 130 accubond
RL25 likes 130 Partitions
IMR 7828 likes 150 AFrames
Any input welcome
Aaron
Did you buy a new gun yet? I have a 22-250 and a 223 WSSM I just bought a Remington SPS varminter with the heavy barrel. Right now you will also get a 40 rebate with that gun. I bought mine at sportsmans for 489.00 and than I got the check in the mail. I bought a bushnell 3200 5x15 tactical...
Use a soldering iron. First clean the tip with steel wool. You don't want to transfer any solder to the threads. Your heat will be focused on the direct area you want heated up.

If possible I would try a honey burn. It works great. Lots of critters come running when they smell it. Take a tin coffee can, poor a jar of honey in it. Get a vice grip and clap on (this is your handle) Get a blow torch heat the outside of the can above the honey after that area gets hot...
Thanks for the info 300. I too shoot a 22-250 and have a favorite load using imr4350 using a 55 grain bt. I think I'm going to pick up a pound of h414 I guess if it doesn't work I could use it for the 22-250.
thank again Aaron
ps300wm,
Would you be willing to give the grain weight you were using with H414. I have tried imr4350 and varget using 55 grain bt,vmax, bergers. I am one not to quit but I really don't to buy a pound of h414 and play with it. I have to travel 75 miles one way to the gun range.
Thanks Aaron
