Folks shooting the 280ai My new custom rifle will be done in a couple days. I was planning on shooting rl26 out of it with 160 accubonds up to the 168 bergers. Is there a better powder for velocities? Not interested in temp UNstable powders.

The 140 Ab's I used to shoot out of my 280 rem worked very well. I have no doubt they will work in my 280AI. As far as the ablr's I have not heard good about them. I have heard they blow apart on game and have been told not to trust them.

Im curious what your free bore is. Mine is being built and my freebore will be 180. Im curious if the 160 gr ab is still gonna work outta it

im thinking the 160 gr AB might just be the best bet for my 280AI

Well from what I see its shit for close range shots. But I wonder how they hold up from 100 yards and out?

Yes its the match bullet. So was the a-max bullet that a ton of guys were using to kill big game with. That's why im asking if someone would test it.

Anyone on here willing to do a bullet test on the .284 162 gr ELD-M bullet? Im curious how they hold up and mushroom.

I have not shot the load through my chrony , It out of a ruger American rifle. To be honest im not gonna shoot the bullet anymore. Im not at all happy with the performance with the berger bullet. Im gonna work up a new load with nosler ballistic tips..
