Well its a landslide for the Vanguard. Weight is not an issue. The rifle the Vanguard is replacing is a old M77 Ruger that is heavier then the Vanguard so that's not a problem. He is really looking for a better trigger and better shooting rifle all around.

I was leading him towards the Weatherby. How is the Vanguard trigger?
