    Varget 42.5 gr with the 200 gr E-tip. Shoot well in my Sako and I have not pushed up the charge. It is a great looking bullet. I shot a smaller black bear this spring and it was dead in it's tracks. Eric

    .35 Whelen

    I have a few Whelens sitting around. My latest is a Tikka T3 bored into a Whelen Nice shooter and easy on the packing shoulder. Little push on the shooting shoulder but with a Whelen...... it only takes one shot.

    I have an Encore with 14 inch barrels in 223 and 7mm-08 Just got it a few months ago. The 7mm-98 seems to shot 120 gr BT well and tomorrow is first range day for the 223.

    I have been trying to learn more about the Hornady FTX. There are a few cast bullet options also Guess will just have to try it out the FTX. It shoots the factory loads pretty well, little better thanks reloading. Think it is a crimping thing on my reloads

    Ruger Gun sight rifle in 308

    thanks for the feedback. One of the LGS had a used one for a decent price, but it just did not pull at me enough. For iron sites, I will stay with my Winchester Big Bore 375 Win.
