The one I shot did pretty well. Our accuracy testing was limited to Federal mil-spec ammo and gave 2"-2.5". I believe it would have shot quite a bit better given some load development and testing.
I love the Scout concept and have a lot of affinity for them.
I have one and shot it for a year.
I found I like a longer barrel, detest the forward mounted scope, and the magazine, boat rudder really, ruins the balance point.
They shoot very well indeed. It's a sub 1" gun with handloads and a good shot. Light easy to carry for younger shooters. The magazine makes it easy to unload for vehicle travel. Bought the composite 5 rounder for hunting.
thanks for the feedback. One of the LGS had a used one for a decent price, but it just did not pull at me enough. For iron sites, I will stay with my Winchester Big Bore 375 Win.
If one was hunting hogs, or deer, in close quarters I think a Red Dot forward mounted might have much merit. I don't hunt hogs often so it doesn't suit my needs for a rifle. One can buy a three round magazine that eliminates the boat rudder complaint I have.
