Given the parameters you have set out, I'd be opting for a 300 RUM or something similar with well constructed bullets. Top end glass will be another consideration.

If availability was entered into the question I would have to go with Barnes , Hornady and Speer in that order; Barnes and Hornady were pretty much always available even throughout the pandemic.

I voted Other; Woodleigh is my favorite bullet because they work, plain and simple. But they're not cheap or common up here. Other than that I would say Hornady
Glad to hear things are going well for you. Since my heart attack I always carry ASA81 and my Nitro spray but I have it incase a buddy or co-worker needs it.
