I’ve never given it much thought because a long shot for me is 250 yards. I always thought water or other debris in the tube would affect accuracy/ dependability more than a piece of tape. But according to outdoor life field test:

The 108 ELD-M turns coyote insides into slush puppies. Mine is getting launched by LeverEvolution. I’ll have to look up my speed in my notes, but I remember its pretty darn zippy.
Have a few ready to go.
First up is a red slate over glass in a laminate of oak, cherry and walnut with one of my waterproof strikers. The red slate has a “marble” look and it goes from soft, subtle clucks and purrs to loud raspy yelps and piercing cuts. It sounds like a mix between common grey...

Send it packing. somewhere out there is someone looking to enjoy it.
The sixth and final rule of Marie Kondo's “KonMari Method for a tidy life” is to ask yourself if an item sparks joy when you pick it up. If not, it has to go…….never question the Japanese when it comes to tidying and...
If deer could wake up with a bad hangover after blacking out, I think it would look like this…seems he’s had a rough go. That white face, wonky jaw (few other pictures shows him with a pronounced cross bite), ruffed up fur and being lopsided on the topside. Seems healthy though.
