CHP helicopter saves hiker from mountain lion

I believe that it was in 1990 that mountain lion hunting was eliminated. I remember that during the next two summers between 6-7 people were mauled on the American River bike trail while jogging. I have not heard much in the way of mountain lion attacks since that time.

    Blow gun hunting

I feel for you. When my two girls leave the house and move out on there own, I know that I will have a tough time. I couldn't even imagine having one of my girls half way across the world. Hunting in June, July, Aug?

I believe that 2011 was the last year that the island was hunted. I think that the average mule deer taken was close to 190". For some reason, the national park service decided to exterminate all non-native wildlife. For some 30 years the island including the roosevelt elk and the mule deer...

    Bighorn Ram. Take the shot?

Would not take the shot as they are standing in the pic. I am afraid that I would have a pass through and injure the rear ram. I would have to wait until both rams were clear of each other. Once they were clear, if they cleared each other, I would shoot the one that provided the best...

North Face Snowshoe Sleeping bag/ Cabelas XPG Tent

I have the Cabela's XPG ultra light 3 man tent. I have only used it once on an August high country archery back packing trip. We had about two hours of torrential down pour and the tent stayed dry. I too am very happy with it.

    SWAROVSKI Z5 w custom turret

I have the Z5 3.5-18 mounted on my 7STW. I love the scope. I have a 200 yard zero with the first dial setting at 300, second at 400, third at 500 yards. I do not see a need for a custom turret to be made when the turret that comes with the scope is completely customizable from the Swaroski...
