I've burned a lot of RL 15 in some 308s. but never with a 150 gr bullet. But I think you should be able to work up a good load in a short time using your RL 15.

I use a 140 gr AB in my 260, 6.5-284 and 6.5-06. Each rifle has killed a few whitetails with that bullet.

I have the same rifle it likes a 165 AB and Reloader 15

My 1:8 twist 22-250 likes IMR 4831 and a 75 gr AMAX. My 1:8 twist .223 Tikka also likes them. Hornaday stopped making the 75 gr AMAX but but I bought enough to last me a long time.

It works well in my 6.8 spc with 120 gr bullets.

There are probably after market parts to change out anything you don't like.

+1 on Tikka. Three years ago I didn't have any, now I have 4. I have a 7mm-08 SL that shoots well.

6.5-06 7mm WSM 30-06 300 WM They will all work for any thing I'm going to hunt this year. Depends if I'm sitting or walking.

My 7mm WSM likes a 160 gr AB and H4831.

I use it with 168 gr bullets and a Rem 700 308 with 178 gr bullets. RL 15 works well in both.

After reading this I decided to add my 30-06 the hunting line up this year. Can't remember last time I shot something with one. My old load was a 165 gr bullet with IMR 4350. This time around I decided to use a 165 AB with Reloader 15. Ruger No 1 with a 22 inch barrel getting 2900 fps. 5 shot...

Fotis, Who are you having do the re barrel work? I have a No1 I'm thinking re barreling.

Check out Mountain Tactical they sell Billet Tikka mags. I bought a couple for my Tikka 223.
