My last build was a 260AI ( thanks to Creedmore The Enabler ) on a 700 LA
Smith cut the throat WAY to long in it and he is in the process of setting it back and starting over.
Got about 100 rounds down the tube and nothing shot well at all.
Can't wait to get it back.

I'm in the " never on game again camp " when it comes to Berger bullets.
After blowing a 2 inch wide patch of hair off an Auodad's chest with my 264 at 150 yards and then shooting another one that ran 75 yards into damn near impenetrable brush and leaving no blood trail, I'm done.

The Garand got a little refinish this weekend.
Couple of coats of Tru-Oil on her now.
( Didn't take long to dry in 105 degree heat either ) :lol:
Stock turned out beautiful with the gloss finish but it didn't look right all shiny.
Knocked the gloss off with some 000 steel wool.
If I'm reading that correctly you're at 43.0 grs of Varget ?
You need to keep working up.
I'm shooting 165 BTs with 48 grs of Varget.
I'd also play with the seating depth but all in all you're off to a good start.

The only powder I've tried in the 264 is WC872
Mil spec stuff that has a burn rate very similar to H870.
Here's a group w 130 ABs out of my rifle.
Muzzle vel was 3350 with an ES of 9.
The bottom left hole was a fouler.
