129 &142 ABLR slow and fast

I use the RDF in almost all my target rifles. They like to jump. This rifle is my 2nd 6.5 creed. I have a Savage 110 desert tactical it is a bit too heavy for my kind of hunting in my area.

129 &142 ABLR slow and fast

I am currently working up load development also for the 129 ABLR for whitetails here in NW Louisiana. Yesterday at the range I was testing My 6.5 Axis with a 22" barrel. Seems like the 129 ABLR is very similar to the 130 RDF. Here is my results using the RDF and N140 in Peterson brass 100 yards...

    168 RDF BC?

I bought my Rem 700 VSSF in 1995 and have not shot it that much. It came with a HS Precision stock. Recently I got it out of the closet added a Timney trigger and a Witt Machine Clamp on muzzle brake. The rifle having a 1-12 twist I just did not know if I could get the 168 & 175 to shoot well...

    New project .223

I use the Benchmark and Ar Comp because they are very stable at temperature changes IMR 8208 is about the same as Benchmark.

    New project .223

Benchmark 1st then AR Comp would be my choice because that is my 69 and 77 gr powders.

Thinking about a new press, How much of one do I need?

Take a hard look at the new Frankford Arsenal Press looks very well made. If I did not have a T-7 and had more room that would be my choice.

    175 RDF Load Data

I never use coal measurements in my target rifles just base to ogive. That info could be a little misleading to a newbe causing over pressure with a max load of powder.

    175 RDF Load Data

In the Nosler Load Data it shows a tested coal of 2.80 for a 175 RDF . With the RDF being much longer I would think loading it to 2.80 would be a compressed load in some cases. What do you think?

    270 Win W/IMR8208XBR

Just wondering if anyone has tried IMR 8208 in their 270 Win. I have a Nosler Win 270 M 48 and thinking about trying some with Nosler 130 BT and Accubonds. I have had good results with 8208 in my AR's and 308's. Found some quickload data here in the forum.

Had the same problem before I got a Magnetospeed. Use a black magic marker on the bullet that should help.
