    Talk to me about BT's

I've shot whitetails with BT's from the 257 Roberts, 6mm, 7mm-08, 280, and '06. They usually drop in their tracks, but if not, they don't go outta sight!

    Which Reticle?

I like to dial my scope for distance, so I'd go with the V-Plex.

    Partition Blems

That makes me wonder if I should weight my bullets before I load them. I'm 4.7gr over published max in my 257 ackley with a 100gr bullet. Can you imagine what would happen if I accidentally loaded a 115gr bullet in there? Do you guys weight each bullet before loading? I'm kinda scared now! Steve

    Favorite 44 mag load?

Thanks guys. I should also add that I have a ton of 700X to use for reduced loads. I use it for most of my pistol loads, and it works great.

    Favorite 44 mag load?

So I have almost everything gathered up to load for my 44mag. I'm going to order some 240gr cast bullets from the Missouri Bullet Company. I have brass, Win mag primers, standard Rem primers, and a full can of IMR4227. Looking for a mild load that will be fun to shoot, but still dispatch...

257 Roberts Ackley Improved load development

Thanks Scotty. I'll get a pic up of the rifle soon. I'm not worried about brass life. This isn't gonna be a rifle that I take prairie dog hunting. It will be used for whitetail, coyote, and the occasional chuck. Plus, I have a couple hundred cases to play with. You will have to wait till after I...
