OUTSTANDING! Great accuracy, particularly from such a lightweight build.
7 PRC is a fine cartridge - similar ballistics to the 7mm Rem Mag but able to handle longer bullets and without the belted case. Love that you've achieved that level of accuracy from a 7 pound rifle!

Ernie's post reminded me that Hodgdon has long published load data for 15" barreled pistols - in rifle cartridges! I've found this very useful when trying to figure out what sort of velocity might be obtained from say, a 16" 308 or whatever. Here's an example from their online Reloading Data Center:
Very cool. Love that the pup is part of your shooting.
A few years ago a buddy built a 25 Creed and tried the 133 gr Bergers with excellent results on target. I don't think he's hunted with the rifle though, just used it for a range toy.

Don't listen to that SJB fellow... He's just not big and strong enough to deal with the 30-06... ;)
Yes - that's a complete joke! Scotty is one big, strong fellow and I'm the 30-06 fan. He knows I'm old and wimpy now and prefer my 25-06, skipping past that danged 270 Winchester...
Okay...
Thanks! That top one is my "lucky stump" - shot a good sized muley buck there in 2008 and have hiked back into it almost every year since. Never shot another buck there! Almost shot a bear there though... Called it in with a predator call, had my 30-30 ready but didn't shoot as the bear was a...
Favorite hunting rifle is the 25-06 Remington 700 CDL with the 6x Leupold, 42mm objective version. It's taken game from 20 yards to nearly a quarter mile. Mild recoil. Flat trajectory. Good accuracy. Lethal as all get out on varmints, coyotes, mule deer & pronghorn antelope. Never asked it to do...
This pair of Marlin 22's are my favorite rifles. Sentimental favorite is the top one, the "Mountie" with which I learned to shoot 60 years ago. Dad scoped it sometime in the past 20 years or so. I did a lot of small game and varmint shooting with it. Later, I got my own 39A which is set up with...
I didn't want to tell anyone about the M-60 machinegun and the M40A1 sniper rifle that followed me home from the Corps...
KIDDING! But I did like those things.

Too danged many!
Sometimes I fondly look back to when I had one centerfire rifle, one rimfire rifle, one centerfire handgun and one shotgun... Life was simpler.

Dale - people pay good money for lightning bolt tats!
OUCH! Watch to make sure it heals up without becoming infected.
Good job on the coyote. Excellent way to honor the memory of your old friend.

1911 - I've managed to accumulate several of them in 45, 9mm and a 22 rimfire version as well. I can use the same holster for any of them. Started shooting them in 1980/81 in the Marines. Carried one on duty my entire law enforcement career. Still carry one at least a couple of times a week...
I've been using Starline brass for years:
357 mag
44 Special
44 mag
45 Colt
30-06
45-70
Probably some more. I think I may have used it with my 500 S&W, but I sold that a while back along with all the ammo, dies, etc...
No complaints about it at all. Never did use any nickel plated Starline...
Dale, it's good that a frail young lad such as yourself likes the little 25's... ;)
For those who don't know, "Filmjunkie" or Dale, is a great friend, 30 years younger than me, several inches taller, heavier, stronger and not even close to "frail." I'm just messing with him for being a big...
