Anyone tried out the 7mm 168 grain lrx yet?? I have been shooting factory ammo out of my 7 since 150bt federal premium shoots so well ever since I got it bedded in a mcswirly. Now I am ready to try for better.

Has anyone ever polished the feed ramp on their model 70. My classic stainless 7 mag has a really rough ramp. Just wondering if anyone had any tips either method or tools for that and/or polishing rails while I am at it. I have polished a ramp on a .45 before so I would think it about the same...

That is what i figured by looking at it. I will have toget a scope first. I have some polished S&K rings and based that will fit it. I will shoot the 25 and then make decision.

Is the ejection port on your 300 larger than a standard 06 length action?

How about a 308 Norma supergrade?? Would be little easier to pull off with what I got. I would think there would be a lot of modification required to an 06 length to get a 300 h&h??

I think I am leaning toward leupold vx3 2.5x8 if I don't like it could go straight to my 45-70 guide gun. Still in the running is Leupold fxiii 6x if I could find one to look at it. Dark horse is z3 3x9 just because my other z3 is just rediculous.
