Since I inherited my dad's 742 30-06 I have spent quite a lot of time mechanically restoring it.
After several load development sessions I believe that I have had a breakthrough.
150 Ballistic tips and Reloder 15.
Shot at 200 yards from a hunting bag.
I can't believe that I am exited about...
I have a "Pelican" copy from Harbor freight. This thing weighs 26lb empty..
I slipped a disc in my back carrying it and two scoped rifles up stairs from my vault!
Well, I must be a special kind of dumb, lol.
I currently have a 30 Nosler, 28 Nosler, 27 Nosler, 26 Nosler.
I also have new 30, 28, and 27 Nosler barrels on the shelf waiting in line the shelf.
My current 6br barrel needs 20 rounds to start shooting tiny groups. It's a button rifled hand lapped Criterion, this bore is smooth as glass in the borescope.
You'd expect a rough bore to behave like this, but it is what it is. And you just can't argue with results.

This is my favorite optical chrono.
I use a Labradar now so I can get my true BC for my bullets in my barrels.
I will always keep my G2 in case of emergencies.
I think so too. I appreciate it guys.
I really didn't mean to get into pistols. I've always been hard core rifle guy all the way. I got a p365 about five months ago, I liked it a lot.
Then a p365xl, then a p320 x full size, then this p320 from Sig Sauer custom shop!
I think the...
I think the guy is shooting a 243 Winchester.
You should get north of 2000 rounds out of a 6br if you want it to shoot in .2 moa area.
If .5 moa is ok with you, it will last 3000 or way more.
