Same here, 48.5grs imr4198 and the 300 Speer at 1985fps in my Guide Gun. If I need more, and I don’t, but if I think I do, then it’s 59.0grs H4895 and the 350 Hornady FP at 1922fps.

My model 7 and Model 700 both like 45grs imr4350 with the 80 ttsx

243 with 105’s

With monos I like them tipped to help with expansion. A 130 TTSX is the same length as a 180 CoreLokt, lots of shank on a mono to drive. I’ve only shot whitetails but the 130 TTSX has proven unrecoverable. For elk I’d go 150 TTSX if I wasn’t comfortable with the 130’s.

I’d be looking for 130 TTSX for the .308

I’ve burned a ton of H110 with WLP primers. Mine say for standard or magnum loads on the box, all with mixed brass. 24.5grs with 240’s 21.5grs with 270 Speer

H4831 and IMR7828 are hammers from mine with 160-162’s.

The 300gr Speer is bonded and very tough. I’ve read of guys taking them to 2400fps and they still retain around 80% of their weight. I’m running them around 2000fps from my guide gun. I’ve recovered one from a large doe I shot at 21 feet. I broke the near shoulder and recovered the bullet...

If I hunt with my 30-06 it’s with a Hornady 165 flat base and 45grs H4895 for 2500fps. I’ve killed deer with 180’s at. 2737fps, 130 ttsx at 3200fps and a few other from the -06. Other than more recoil they do nothing that the 2500fps load doesn’t do.

Should say new unfired brass. The last bag of WW brass I bought I threw away 5-6 pieces because the necks were split while still in the bag. On the 300 brass I size the necks so it will slightly crush fit in my rifle and load 140 sierras over 59grs imr4350. They’ll beat a 6” round plate to...

H4831 and 7828 are excellent in my 7wsm. I use WW brass but I anneal it as soon as I get it because I’ve had necks crack on brand new I fired brass. I actually started buying 300 wsm brass, forming a false shoulder for crush fit and fire forming. I’ve not tried Hornady 7wsm brass but WW has...

I love my heavy barreled Howa bolt gun in 6.5 Grendel.

405 and 25grs of 2400 with no filler shoots great from my guide gun. 13.5grs hs6 with 300’s and 350’s also shoots excellent.

Not crazy fast, 3050-3075, but 45.2grs h4831 shoots crazy good from 4 different 243’s for me. I seat to the center of the top groove. I’ve never recovered one and performance has been excellent. With the Barnes 80ttsx h and imr 4350 45-45.5grs 3260fps, are the winners.

Mine like h4831 the most bestest with 120-140’s.

Nothing but great performance with ballistic tips here.
