Has anyone worked up a load for the 115 gr. VLDH using the new Enduron powder in .25-06? I contacted Berger directly and as of yet they have not tested IMR 7977. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I have always used Hornady dies for my 9mm. I also bought the Hornady 9mm taper die as well to properly crimp the case and get the proper headspace. Since then and that was at least 20 years ago, I purchased the Lee Factory Crimp taper die for this cartridge and have been favorably impressed...
What have you tried 4451 on? I have a chance to buy some and would appreciate your input. I'm still searching for 4955 for the same reason you mentioned, burn rate. It looks very versatile especially for my .25-06.
I am using the 180 gr. Accubonds in my Remington 700 .30-06 and am having success at 0.125" off the lands backed up by 61.5 grs. of RL 22. Groups are consistently sub moa at 100 yds.

Small world
Well Everyone, to me it's been a profoundly good year. I joined this forum not long ago and to say that it has been a great wealth of information would absolutely be a gross understatement! Thanks to the input from the "old timers" and everyone else I have upgraded my reloading capabilities...
I ordered a box of these for my Browning A-Bolt Stainless Steel Stalker II in .25-06 (22" bbl.). I was wondering if anyone had any tips on loading them or can pass along any performance information, both on the range and in the field. I have a pretty good selection of powders available: IMR...
Not yet. We have regular rifle season opening on November 30 for two weeks. I did see four bucks in the early doe season though. I guess I'll just stick to my spot!
