Has anyone worked up a load for the 115 gr. VLDH using the new Enduron powder in .25-06? I contacted Berger directly and as of yet they have not tested IMR 7977. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I cannot help you there, but I can comment on the 115 bergers out of a 2506. I did not have that much luck getting them to shoot well, and being as the factory twist only provided marginal stabilization I dont believe that I would have been able to get the full bc value out of them. This was also at the beginning of the end for my 25-06, as i regrettably discovered shortly after that the barrel was shot out and the throat a good amount of erosion. Hopefully you have better luck than I did! Let me know if you get them to shoot, I have a full box and most of a partial and no longer have a 25 cal rifle

I've worked up loads for my 2 25-06's using 7977 and the 110 AB. One likes it at 59.5 grains and the other one likes 60. No pressure signs in either.

Start around 56 and work up.

I agree. I did some research and found that 56 grains looks like a good spot to start. Think I'll give it a try with some 110 AB's too based on your input.

Many thanks!
