Hey all- Have used this load for a long time. It is based on Dads old speer manual, (1964). Cant find any Nosler Data for this, closest is a 100 gr Speer. For taht Bullet I would be two full grains over Max. Here's the load:

RP Case - 250-3000 Savage
Primer - CCI 200
Bullet- 100 Gr BT
Powder- 35 Grains of IMR 4064

What does the Data look like for that load? Thanks for the effort. CL

GRT shows 57k psi at the nominal cartridge values.
Might be OK in a bolt gun, but wouldn't suggest it in a M99.

You might be pushing the envelope, Troy.

Thanks Gentlemen- yup I think I'll back it off a ways and hope the accuracy stays there. I have had so much trouble with the "long headspace"in my Mauser. It has worked, but I think Ive got to back off a little to save on my brass. Antelope and Coyotes wont know the difference. Thanks again. CL
