My wife has taken a liking to my Accumark Limited 6.5 Wby RPM and I was scared it would be confiscated. Since she gets Weatherby new product introductions she wanted to get a carbon barreled RPM. Lo and behold we stumbled upon the Mark V Carbonmark in 6.5 Wby RPM. It’s almost identical to my...
The TX hog hunt was a lot of fun. I used the 140 gr SB in the 6.5 RPM to take 2 hogs. Both were DRT with double lung shots on quartering away shots. I recovered both bullets.

My wife has two M48 rifles, a Heritage with a gorgeous stock in 280 AI and a Mountain Carbon in 30 Nosler. Both shoot well under MOA. I’ve been eyeing the pistols for a couple of years. If they offered one in 6.5-284 Norma or 7-08 Rem. I’d most likely get one.

Welcome to the forum. I’ve used the 265 ABLR in the 338 RUM with excellent results on WT deer. It hits hard and shoots sub .5 MOA at 2875 FPS.
You won’t get that speed but it will still expand well and penetrate deep.
