I realized today that I am temp sensitive. I walked out of the heated barn into 10°f and 10 mph winds.Nicely done.
Could have tried a temp stable test , set 3 outside for 10 minutes and checked the velocity. Whopping 2 degrees here today again.
I'll give the 140 gr BT a try on some crop damage deer this summer.Some great loads JD, maybe you could do some bullet testing on the hogs when you're down south.

I’m getting 3040 fps with the 140 gr Solid Base.that bullet looks to have held together well . about what velocity are you getting ? both of these rifles look great . congrats on a productive hunt .
The longest shot I have seen is right over 100 yards, at that ranch, in the last 4 years or so. Typically, under 75 yards.What was the hog's range at impact? Sorry if I missed it in an earlier response...
