Has anyone tried RL 16 in the .30-06 with 180 gr. or 165 gr. bullets? How about in the .25-06 with 110 gr. or 115 gr. bullets? I thought I'd give it a try but would appreciate any input from the forum members first.
Thanks!
I've always wanted to change from dry media to the tumbler process but the capacity of the drums far exceeded my requirements. Nonetheless, I was prompted by this post to explore the issue on wet tumbling once again. To my surprise I noticed that Frankford Arsenal is soon offering a Tumbler...
I've finally realized a lifelong dream and booked an elk hunt in Montana for 2019. My .30-06 shoots the 168 gr. E-Tip and 180 gr. AccuBond very well. I understand that either bullet weight is more than adequate for elk but I am leaning towards the E-Tip due to its higher BC and velocity.

I'm seriously considering purchasing a Range Officer in .45 ACP. I read a lot of good things about them but would greatly appreciate any personal experiences.
Thanks
Bbear: I'm looking at the same combination. I haven't worked up any loads yet but I'm thinking of starting out at 58 grains. Where did you find your best results?

I agree. I did some research and found that 56 grains looks like a good spot to start. Think I'll give it a try with some 110 AB's too based on your input.
Many thanks!
