I'm going to put this one on Gun broker soon. I really have no need for it. I use a 45-70 Guide Gun when I need a short, fast handling rifle with some punch. I'm launching a 250gr Barne's TSX out of my Marlin at 2570 FPS with 57.5grs of AA 1680.

I like the 25-06. Post how that load shoots. I'm working on a Rem 760 pump that I rebarreled in 25-06.

Isn't that the truth! I felt kinda dumb there for a bit. I wrongly assumed that any scope coming out from Leupold would be optically centered. Certainly a useful learning experience. I'm just glad I didn't go and take 20 thou off that front base..

I'd like to have one with CRF(like I really need another rifle). I've got 2 of the Classic CRF, one 338 Win mag with the BOSS and the 375 H&H.. The FW are certainly a great looking rifle.

Correct Doc, it is a push feed. Mine shot very well.

Those are classics indeed. I just picked up a mint Rem 600 in 350 Rem mag. Pretty cool old rifle and has to be quite a thumper!
