info on this remington mohawk please....

That is the first version of the Remington 600. It was replaced by the M660 where the prettied (?) up the stock a bit with a black forearn tip and while line spacers, a 20" barrel and dumped that silly ventilated rib. The 600 Mohawk was similar to the original M600 but was without that impressed checkering and the ventilated rib was also left out. I had the Mohawk in .308 Win. and the M660, also in .308 but I kept the 660. Muzzle blast was vicious in both rifles. My 660 accounts for the majority of the Mule Deer I took while living in Nevada. They are neat rifles even if they do have that funny dog leg bolt. :lol:

I can think of one. A savage 99 in .358 Win with a 18 1/2" barrel. Don't got one but I got it in 308.

Yup! That's pretty much what I remember about that particular rifle. I do like the 350 RM. Mine has accounted for black bear, elk and moose. It hits hard and puts game down very quickly.

I'm going to put this one on Gun broker soon. I really have no need for it. I use a 45-70 Guide Gun when I need a short, fast handling rifle with some punch. I'm launching a 250gr Barne's TSX out of my Marlin at 2570 FPS with 57.5grs of AA 1680.
