Yeah.. they ended up refusing to give me a fluted barrel on the rebuild (which the rifle had originally) so I had them refund my money. Pretty disappointing.
They are completely rebuilding mine. New bolt and barrel. Apparently barrel was giving bad pressure signs on factory ammo. Good thing I never got around to shooting it.

I have the previous model (455). Mine is the SiCo version with threaded 17HMR and 22LR barrels. It is my favorite rimfire. It is very easy to change the barrels on these rifles to go between those calibers. Go with the 22 version and buy a 17 or 22mag barrel later on.
I would think that you will get really good velocities out of this combo. I am using it in a M70 Featherweight 7x57. 49 grains is pushing the 150 ABLR 2920 FPS @ 3.18" OAL in a 22" barrel. Accuracy has been slightly under MOA so far.
