Best as in what?
How does one say looking at load data and say so far the "best"....

H 4350 and the 6.5 Creedmoor go very well together. StaBall Match is another good one, as is Varget. N 555 is another excellent choice.
Interesting that your rifle has a 1:9 twist rate, I believe most 6.5 Creedmoor rifles are twisted a little faster at 1:8. Shouldn't make any difference with your proposed 125 grain bullet though.
I've loaded different 100 - 147 grain bullets for my 6.5 CM, all have proven accurate so far.

I've been told that the 6.5 Creedmoor was designed as a long range target round with H4350 in mind.
When my wife got her 6.5 CM, I was going to do load development with H4350 but I started with RL17 and the 129 gr ABLR and never looked back. With great speed and .5 MOA, I called it good. That combo has put a hand full of deer in the freezer with DRT results.

If it shows up (RL17) I’m buying all I can with what ever is left in my monthly disposable income account. 
I’ve owned three 6.5 creedmores, sold the first two and for the life of me I can’t figure out what all the fuss is about. But I’m still trying to learn. Anyway, I have had very good luck with H4350 and just about anything weight wise in the 6.5. Rl 15 has also been Ok as has Rl 16.
I generally don’t pay attention to the most accurate listing in the load guide other than to get an idea of the burn rate that seems to go with a particular cartridge.
If you had come over to my loading room and asked what is the best powder for any particular cartridge I would look at velocity for near 100% case fill. I generally stay away from relatively low density lower velocity selections. That being said I’ve several rifles that shoot very accurately using Varget.
The reality is there is a lot of science that goes into powder formulations and which cartridge that powder performs best in. The rest of it is witchcraft.

Appreciate the satire but in reality you come on a reloading forum and just post a "what's the best" kind of question.
"Best" means many things to many people.
Speed, accuracy, compromise of both....

You are correct Guy. I still have 1 or 2 lbs of it so that's what I load. When it's gone, I will switch over to H4350.Ya, I think RL-17 is no longer available though.

I second this. Everything I'm hearing is that Alliant is only making powder for govt. contracts and there is nothing left for the general population. If Hodgdon goes this way, there will not be many options left. I'm transitioning to Vihtavouri on a few loads and Hodgdon on others, but have a little RE15, 19, 22 left. Interesting times.

I'm done with Alliant powder if there going to turn there back on the people that have supported and bought there products for years .I will spend my money some where else don't get me wrong I really like there powder but don't like the way there doing us ,the last pound I bought the price had doubled to what it ought to have cost .

You can occasionally buy Alliant powder here in Australia, but you will have to part with a kidney to afford it. H4350 is kind of the standard in medium weight bullets for the 6.5’s that are not over bore.

I also have a pail of H4350 to try out as a replacement for RL-17. N555 does fit that niche too , just a little bulky with case fill.

H4350 is the bee's knees for my 6.5 Creed in 1:8 twist. I have used 120 grains up to 147 grains. Shoots extremely well for me. It was the first powder I used and the last one. If I could get some more H4350, I would get it in a heartbeat. I have about 16 lbs left for safekeeping.

It’s 1:8 twist. Typo on my part. Thanks for the intel. Looking at Nosler’s loading data, that’s what they recommend. I’ll load up a few different recipes and see which is a good pairing. I’m hoping the 6.5 will like the partitions like my .308 does.
