For anyone looking to shoot Nosler’s RDF bullet , all I can say they are great. I openned up a new box of 500 and they left off like the old lot. 3 shot to warm up the barrel 69A3ED1C-F6A2-4F54-8DD0-5C8DAAB58855.jpeg
Next up was a 10 shot with mag swap 3770CE22-15AD-4300-847A-BE1E1471F965.jpeg. I did goof the 10th shot low but I’m not going to complain.
Howa 6.5 Creed heavy barrel , MPA chassiss , RL-26 Hornady case.

RL338 where did you get those target stickers? I really like those.

Can I ask what your OCL was and jump from rifling as w the RDF?

I am begining to reload the 6.5 CM and have 140 ELD and Nosler RDF. Starting out w RL 16.

What was your charge of RL26? Any difficulty w maintaining OCL compressed load?

thanks!

I have them 0.020” off , which gives me an ogive measurement of 3.244” with Hornady comparator. My load of RL26 is 47.6gr is not compressed with Hornady brass running upper 2700 fps. This is a mild load in my rifle. Good luck

Sweet! I have a bunch of 70 gr. 22 cals on the way. Hopefully the rain and wind will be bored with hanging out here by the time they come!

Are you sure that isn't a typo? RL26 is a slow-burning magnum powder, not suited for 6.5CM. Did you mean to say RL16?

No typo RL26 runs well in the 6.5 Creed. For awhile I think it was 2nd popular to H4350 , which both now are impossible to find.

I have used RL 26 in my 6.5 CM as well, with 130g RDF. It is compressed about 107% as I'm seating them deep. It's also my go to powder for my 280 Rem with 150g regular Accubonds.
