Right up around 26th and Walker DF. Been since 2005 since I've been back.

That's not far from where I used to live in 29th and Emily. We're higher up that we can see the harbor.

Hi' LL, it's a custom Tactical rifle built by a local smith here in Southern Cal.

I'm kicking myself for not getting together with you to make a trip to his shop while I was down there.

BK, There's probably a few capable smith out there in Oregon who can craft accurate rifle like mine.

You just have to post pictures like that to make us all feel bad! That is some excellent shooting, Rommel. It is a fine load, to be sure; however, someone has to have control over the rifle to ensure it performs as it should. Congratulations.

Sorry Dr. Mike I can't help myself  I'm so excited with this load that I can't wait to try it at 1 K.

My wife did not do too bad either. Here's the result if her shoot this morning.

Man, talk about making a bunch of fellows feel inadequate. Great shooting on the part of Mrs. Desert Fox! Tell her that some of us are definitely impressed.

Thanks Guys.

The 12 twist 3 grove Pac-Nor Super Match on this rifle is a hammer. Jim chambered it with JGS reamer ground to Obermeyer dimension and specifications for 175 grain Sierra Match King. I never tried the 175 since the rifle shoots very well with 155 grain Lapua Scenar and 168 grain Nosler Comp.

I shoot the rifle using a bipod. I'll pre-load the bipod and kept the quarter minute dot on the IOR centered into the triangle and pull the trigger. The rifle will guide the bullet to the spot. That's all there is to it.

That is a well crafted load and really well built rifle that works that nicely for you DF. Not to mention you being a great shooting buddy. Way to go.
