Here is a beautiful 373 7x7 bull elk taken by my cousin this past September on the Utah, Wasatch limited entry elk hunt. The bull was shot from a very long distance with a custom .300 Ultra Mag using handloaded 180 grain Nosler AccuBond bullets. The bullet hit the back side of the shoulder, hit the top of both lungs, sent enough shock waves into the spine to put the bull down. Just one more success story for Nosler products. GO AccuBond!

Sorry if this image doesn't show up. If it doesn't, I would be happy to email the pic to someone he knows what they are doing.

Here you go. Posted it through photobucket.

Great job and great trophy! Can not for more. Congrats.

POP, thanks for the help with the pic.

I would amagine Cheyenne is crawling with antelope and deer hunters this time of year. I used to be one of them before I got a serious case of elk fever in Utah.

Thanks again,
Victor

I used to live in the Logan area for a while...trying to get enough bonus points now to try to get one of those for myself.

Good bull, congratulations!
