He probably did, but this is the one he sent to me. I've caught photos of the brass in air from other shooters several times. That's a great picture Guy. Did he get any with the brass ejecting?
I always liked this one.

In other words, a bad guy would be well advised not to aggravate him!He probably did, but this is the one he sent to me. I've caught photos of the brass in air from other shooters several times.
One cop I worked with shot a Glock in 40 S&W. Somewhere I have a photo of him with four empty cases in the air! That cop can shoot! Heck of a martial arts fellow too.

My hands aren't unusually large, I think the photo magnifies them a bit. Looking back, I think that in my law enforcement career I only slugged two or three criminals. I did however introduce a lot of them to Mr Floor, Mr Wall, and Mr trunk lid or some combo thereof. Resisting arrest isn't a good choice!Maybe its just me but, looking at that photo, I sure would't want to be slapped by one of Guy's paws. They just swallow up that 1911!
When I used to bounce in the country bar nicknamed NightFighters (actually called NightRiders), I used Mr Bar, Mr Door and Mr Railing to help take the fight out of the odd troublemaker! My hands aren't unusually large, I think the photo magnifies them a bit. My 10MM is the Eclipse Custom II w/ 5" barrel. One of the guys I work with is pretty handy with a camera and grabbed this shot of my newer Kimber while I was shooting at the range. I think it looks pretty cool:

I laughed when I read that comment. Our Cell block was on the third floor and the prisoner had to take the elevator up. A good number of them tripped while getting into the elevator. My hands aren't unusually large, I think the photo magnifies them a bit. Can't say that I do...Do any of y'all remember the three from the ring baton tactic?
That's called an "Attitude Adjustment"!Can't say that I do...
I was pretty good with my baton and keep it handy still. It's a three-sided job made of ironwood by a fellow here in Washington. A retired cop who is an Irishman and knows wood. Pretty fine and brutal martial arts guy in his day as well. I never actually smacked anyone with it, though I did jab one doubter in the gut with it. He got smarter real fast.

Three from the ring was a three step stroke, 1. out of the ring (left side) with a cross body forearm stroke to the opposite side collarbone, 2. wrap around with a backhand stroke to the arm above the elbow, 3. finally another backhand stroke to that nerve spot right below the pocket on the leg. The batons we used were made of Ash and about 28" long. I started to use mine on an especially onery fellow but he tried to duck. I ended up pinching off a bit of the hangy down part of his ear. It did end the fight he was dead set on starting. Other than that I too only used it for poking and prying. Can't say that I do...
