200gr. accubond in 300 win mag

Yes you may. That is the suggested procedure. Just start low and work up. For what it is worth I have gone through what you are embarking on. I ended up with H1000 pushing my 200 grain Accubonds right at 3000 fps. I would love to hear your experiences as you get going, especially with IMR 4831 as I have a keg of it at home.

Keep us posted.

This is a max load and has broken 3000 fps in 26" barelled guns. Approach with caution.
72.5gr RL22 fed 215M caps Win brass

how many grains of H1000 did you use with 200g AccuBond?

300winnie....
I am getting ready to look at 200gr AB's w/H1000.
This load is for a Rem700 SPS 26"bbl .300WM.
Would really like to know where your at on this, so I can crank back
10% or so and start my way up.
TIA

I can't find any information for loading 200gr. AccuBond bullets in 300 win mag. I like using RL22 and IMR 4831. Can I subsitute loads from 200gr. nos. Partition for the AccuBond? Any help would be would be great.

Max is 72.5 RL 22 and should get 3000+ fps in a 26" tube! Work up sloooooooooooooooooow

Double Aught,

Here is my load. It is max in my rifle, so please back off and work up carefully.

Rifle : Browning Stainless Stalker with 26" tube
Brass: Virgin Winchester run through full length resizer, primer pocket uniformed, flash hole deburred, trimmed to length, chamferred and deburred.
Primer: Federal 215M
Powder: 80.5 grains of H1000
Bullet: Nosler 200 grain AccuBond seated .040 off the lands.

Ten rounds chronographed 15 feet from the muzzle averaged 3,038 fps and grouped with an inch.

Hope this helps. Let us know of what you find.

My load is F215, 77-H1000, and 200gr NAB. It will crunch when you seat the bullet.

5-shot group with great speed!

That much mass delivered with the apparent accuracy will definitely get the job done. Fine riflery.

It must boring in Alaska to res-erect this one from the past    but still good info for one who needs it. (y)

I had really good luck with the 200gr. Accubonds in my win mag, groups hovered around 1/2MOA with H4831SC, H1000, and RL22. Personally I will not use RL22 anymore. I actually try to avoid Alliant because of the way their customer service treated me, I'd rather spend my money on a company that provides excellent customer service.

In my rifle, the 200's liked about 0.040" jump and max loads of all three powders. Best velocity came from RL22, but H1000 was within 30fps. Check the nosler manual and load a stout load of H1000, that's what I would do. That will be a wicked combo for elk across the canyon
