Making the 6 hour trek on Sunday to hunt for Mule Deer. We can and will hunt with muzzleloaders up to and including the 31st of Oct. as well we will also hunt whitetail until the 31st as well. Nov.1 our draw mule deer rifle starts and we will transition to centerfire at that point if needed. My brother in law and I have been waiting patiently and will take plenty of photos to share. Don't have to be home for 8 days should be a good trip.

What a year so far. Spent 3 out of 7 days hunting the others were spent waiting for the fog to clear.Never in 35 years have I ever had this weather in SK. Located on dandy drop tine on Tues Oct 30 only to be shut down by heavy fog on Mon Oct 29 Wed and Thurs. Friday Nov 3rd the fog cleared at noon and could not relocate the buck Sat the 4th was a repeat. Sunday was a fine day but still unable to turn this guy up again. Will be going back the evening of the 9th and will put in another 3 days hopefully the weather will cooperate and can put in some serious hunting time.

And the fog can be a killer. In addition to masking the game, it can be just miserable to hunt in the soup. Trust your luck turns shortly.

I understand the frustration. We get fog/cloud blanketing the hills here in the Pacific Northwest pretty frequently during hunting season. I was just out in it the other day. Makes for tough hunting to be sure.

Better luck for you soon I hope!

Guy

Our opener on Nov 15 can be 65 degrees, fog, or 10" of snow. Hope things straighten out and you have good success.

We had the same weather last week, but it cleared out over the weekend. Good luck I hope the weather clears for you!!

Hi STW, are you hunting around Eastend? I have hunted there a few times and anchored a nice buck north of Ravenscrage a number of years ago.
Look forward to hear how you and your partner did.

Blessings,
Dan
