I started with Retumbo and had shotgun groups and seeing pressure signs in the mid 2900s. Switched to RL-25 and was getting .5"-.75" groups at 100. Killed three hogs in Texas with it.

Congrats Don. The 300 RUM 200 gr AB should do the trick

Thanks you guys. I'm going to hunt with the 300 RUM, the load I developed and posted awhile ago. The 200 AB load shoots extremely well and at 3100 fps will kill any Elk I go after. :mrgreen: Hopefully we will be hunting in Snow this year, that could push the Elk to lower elevations etc.
