It looks as if you are having a good season. That is a good looking deer. Like you, I tend to be opportunistic on coyotes. I really need to get serious with wolves and yodel dogs this year (I say that every winter). I really mean it this time! :grin:

Jim, I'm guessing those deer were from Jeff's? Which property did that 3pt come from? I ask because my dad shot a spike with a weird antler somewhat similar down there 5 or 6 years ago.

Tom , yes these are from Jeff's . Denise shot that one on the thelma property . I don't think I've ever seen one that had that many kinks in it , like that one has .

sorry Tom , I was corrected . it was shot on the Thelma property . we could hear all the duck and goose hunters at lake gaston , is why I was thinking we were at lake gaston .

Yes it was Scotty . she put a good hit on it with the little 120 ballistic tip . the combo did well .it kicked around but never took a step .

My neighbor's 34" mule deer buck taken on self guided hunt on the Henry Mountains of Utah. Shot with my Christensen Arms .300 Ultra Mag and a 180 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet. Lights out!
