2014 Hunting Pictures

I don't post a whole lot but here is my contribution to 2014

11-15-14 about 5:40 in the evening, you can see the entrance about halfway up, 140lbs live weight doe. Not the best pic but I was on the tail end of food poisoning so it was see, shoot, find, load, leave. lol

Very good, Mike. You tagged a beauty. Great head gear. Congratulations. Now you have to give us the account.

I had the opportunity Monday morning to deflate a 9 point with the 35 Whelen and 225 PT.. Tremendous blood trail about 30 yards long... Very impressed with this combo.

Tuesday Evening I got the chance to take a nice buck with my 7MM WSM.. About 220 yards, 140AB.. He made it about 30 yards and piled up.

Those are some fine specimen of Odocoileus virginianus. The Whelen does give a punch to game shot with it.

Nice!

I wish we had more muley's in my part of the state.

She was a big coyote. She circled me then can right to me on the run. Weirdest thing I have seen for awhile.

Who can figure what is going through a coyote's mind? They can be mighty strange on occasion. She looks fat and sassy, though. The deer in your area are grateful to you, without a doubt.

congratulations , you guys have put up some nice animals .

here's what we have killed so far this season .

Denise's 3 point , with an odd horn .

I got a 7 point .

I got a doe .

Congratulations to you and your lady, Jim. You've done well. Those will each eat well. That little three pointer does have a strange antler. :?

Beautiful picture of your dog over the river, Guy. That is a great representation of that area.

Jim, I'm guessing those deer were from Jeff's? Which property did that 3pt come from? I ask because my dad shot a spike with a weird antler somewhat similar down there 5 or 6 years ago.

Hello! I'm new to the forum, but here are a couple pics from my season thus far. The deer was shot at 80 yards quartering away hard. Heart shot with a 85 TSX over h4350 out of my hawkeye .243, he ran 30 yards and piled up. The coyote I shot checking trail cams in bear season, so he was shot at 100 yards trotting away from me. 165 Speer btsp over re19 out of the tikka 300wsm tore him up pretty good. The pic is of his photogenic side...
