Just received a 13 inch barrel in 204 ruger for my encore, dies, bullets and brass are on the way, sometime next week. Anybody have any good loading information or experiance in a handgun. Should be good enough for any Boone and Crockett ground squirrel alive. And I'm not in the condor range either.

Sounds like a lot of fun coming your way. Hopefully you can show us a pic of it all dressed up.

Who did you get the barrel from?

Richracer, what grain bullet and thanks for helping.

Sorry, that load I mentioned is for a 32gn V-max. I'm slowly working on a load to shoot Nosler 40gn B-Tips.

Thanks Richracer, much appreciated now to get some of that powder. Thanks for the grin JD

Wow, that is one sexy rig! Very nice.

Longwinters turned me on to Ol' Georgia Jim, I have the Gray Laminate on my T/C Contender. The new furniture really makes em shine.

Nice! You can see Georgia Jim furniture from a mile away

Thinking about getting some for my Encore but am worried about trigger reach. I know the guys on SP have discussed that it is kinda a long reach for a short fingered person like myself.

Thanks guys, JD I've been wanting some of jimbos grips for a while and finally did it, completly saticfied. The flat forend helps stablize her well. TScottt I have the largest grips he makes, maybe ask him about smaller ones rick[/b]

Shoots so good it scares most of them away  I have made a couple of 200+ yd kills on groundsquirrels tho
