I have a Tikka 22" barrel with an 8 twist and I bought these bullets a while ago. I'm looking for a place to start, preferably with StaBall 6.5. Could DrMike or one of you fine gentlemen with Quickload please run that combo. If StaBall is not in QL maybe a run with a variety of powders. Thanks in advance.

if StaBall doesn't give you what you're looking for, RL-17 worked very well in my fast twist 22-250 with the 75 ELD-M. One of the few rifles I truly regret selling

I’d say you’re golden.
I‘d bet a dollar or two that 17 or SB6.5 will show you the good.
I LOVE that 77 TMK. Probably my favorite 224 bullet. Accurate as all get out and just works on anything.

Thanks, Scotty! I shot this little Tikka this past weekend with the 50g BTLF and the 64g Hammers for groups at 100 yards. The 3 BTs were at 1/2" and the 3 Hammers all in the same hole and only an inch higher than the BTs. Now I need to stretch them out and see how they do. Can't wait to see how these 77g TMKs do.
That's typical Tikka performance. Silly things just shoot!
I'd bet you'll do great with the 77 TMK's.

Well I tried StaBall and RL17, and StaBall matched up with QL almost perfectly, thanks DrMike, but RL17 gave better velocity and accuracy. Thanks hunter24605. I had 2 in 1 out yesterday at just over 3200 fps, so I seated them a little deeper and just shot a nice 1/2" triangle at 100. Now I need to stretch it out to confirm. Got to love these Tikka's.

Glad it worked out for you..tweaking the seating depth may shrink the groups a little more.
