22 hornet and lilgun powder

using win. brass, I don't think I could get a full load of 13 grns of Lil Gun, 12 to 12.5 grns seen to be almost completely full and is compacted down by seating the bullet.

I keep seeing loads for a full load of 13 grns, is the brass I have just hold less?

Your lot of brass may not hold that much powder.
How is your accuracy at 12.0 and 12.5 grs?
If you have acceptable accuracy, I would just let it go and be happy.
If you are wanting more velocity, look at a larger case.

I like to use 12 grs H110 with 40 bts in my hornet and 100 yard groups around an inch. I don't shoot it much because its a pain in the rear to load for.

I was just curious since I keep seeing loads for lilgun listed at 13. I just thought I would ask.

I have a 22-250 when I want a bullet that goes faster

Try using Remington Hornet brass. It has more case capacity and should allow you to load 13 grains of Lil' Gun.

Use a drop tube to load the powder in the cases.Rick.
