.22 LR ?

Hi ya fellas,
Just got back from a 4 day weekend at Mann lake & the Alvord desert, I even squeezed in a stop at the Nosler pro shop to load up on factory seconds. Anyhow, one of my buddies brought along a .22 rifle I have been trying to get my hands on for some time now. There is nothing sexy about the rifle but it is accurate as hell. It is a tube feed auto & the only markings on it are Ranger 101-11A. Does any one out there know who manufactured this rifle?

http://www.e-gunparts.com/forum/readit. ... 9417&cat=4 says it's a Savage/Stevens Model 87. I can't verify if this is true, but it does give you an avenue to explore.

check with savageshooters.net they are awesome and if it is a savage or stevens they will positively id it for you
