I'm not sure the Nosler folks care at all about being overbore...the 26Nos is pretty wild in that regard.
 
After reading the other thread I was thinking a long 22PPC and it looks like they did basically that. I'm not sure why they went with a rebated head when they do Grendels and other 6PPC based cases on a standard AR.
 
Interesting... the product intro is up. A .22-250 equivalent cartridge that will run in an AR. Change the upper, change to a 6.8 mag and rock on.

Not sure in a bolt gun it brings much to the table that a 22-250 doesn't, but different strokes.

It is interesting that they made sure the 223 can't accidentally be fired in a 22 Nosler, I guess with similar looking components of the rifle it could happen where someone gets mixed up.
