Don't know if this has been done recently but lets see your 22 rimfires. I am down to 1 now but it is a very good one and I am very happy with it, it's really accurate.

CZ 452 American left hand 22 LR
Leupold 8X40 AO scope in Leupold rings.
I really like the 8X40 scope the only drawback is it is a bit hard to shoot a walking grouse in the bush at 15 feet

My wife learning to shoot with it this spring

Got one. A 77/22 ruger. Never let me down. Wears a Leupie rimfire.

My Browning T-Bolt. It is my "chicken" rifle (grouse). It is wonderfully accurate and has accounted for many grouse each fall. I try to make certain it is along on each outing.

I still have the first 22 rifle I ever got. I was 10 or 11 years old and got a Sears Model 1 single shot bolt. It is made my Winchester. I don't shoot it much anymore because the extractor is about wore out. It is un-telling how many tons of lead has gone down that bore. I almost lived with that rifle in my hands growing up. I have killed everything from mice to deer with it. I now have a Ruger 22 auto SS with laminate stock with a match trigger in it. It shoots very well.

My first was a Sears Winchester M190 semi auto. I also have a Remington M541T-HB with a Leupold VXII 4-12x40. This is the one that rids my place of all the varmin. Very accurate with Remington Yellow Jackets!

This is one I built about a year ago. It is a Ruger 10/22 in a Nordic Components AR-22 Receiver Chassis. It has a Green Mountain 20" Stainless-Fluted Bull Barrel and wears a Weaver 6.5x20x44mm AO Series 40/44.

This is a Ruger K77/22VBZ. I had the 24" Barrel shortened and recrowned to 20" and added a Mueller 4.5x14x40mm AO APV to it. Believe it or not shortening the barrel increased velocity and improved accuracy.

This was the first Custom Rimfire I built. It started life as a standard Stainless-Synthetic Ruger K77/22RP. I replaced everything except the receiver. I used a Clark Custom Guns 20" Stainless Bull Barrel and set it in a Volquartsen Laminated Wood Stock that I reshaped.

This one is Ruger K10/22T that we restocked with a Volquartsen Laminated Wood Stock for my nephew.

This is an old Marlin Model 25 that a friend gave me. The stock has been reshaped a bit and painted Grey with a clear coat over it.

All of the above feature free floated barrels and lots of trigger work.

Larry,

Those are some fine looking rimfires. One has to appreciate a fine 22.

Saw a .22 Cooper today in Cablea's, for just shy of $3,000 - very, very nice rifle. My youngest son was with me, and couldn't get over the fact that a mere .22 rimfire could be so expensive. Told him that I'd never shot a Cooper, but that I had to admire the workmanship so clearly evident in that fine rifle. There was an equally nice .30-06 Cooper there too. It would be pretty cool to have matching .22 and .30-06 Cooper rifles...

I have a few buddies that have bought Cooper rifles. Their experience is not as positive as I might have imagined. Both in 22 rimfire and in .223, several rifles had to be sent back to get them to shoot as they should have shot. On the other hand, I've witnessed a couple that were very accurate.

Very nice 22's. I only have one 22LR and it is my sons. I was raised on the 22WMR. I will have to snap a picture of that old war horse. It does need a new scope, but man, what a pile of animals it has taken. Scotty

Yep some very nice .22's in this thread. I would be afraid to hunt with some of those for fear of putting a ding in them.

Funny you should mention a .22 WMR as I just traded some 10/22 parts to a guy for a Savage Model 93F .22 WMR. It is nothing to look at but hopefully it will shoot. I have already free floated the barrel, tuned the trigger (pre Accutrigger) and am getting the barrel shortened and recrowned in about an hour or so. With a little luck my scope will be here in a week or so so I can shoot it.

That's a lot of nice rimfires.

Nice Vintage Unertle on the 52B Guy. I have one of those in 15X with 1" tube and 2" object end getting refurbed at Parsons right now.

Here's my rimfires:

Found them huddled in the back of my safe. Probably scared of all the Centerfire Magnums in there.

I don't have any pictures of my 22's with me. I shoot a CZ 452 American w/ 4x32 Weaver Classic. My wife shoots a Savage MK II w/ old 4x32 Bushnell Scope Chief. I've also got my great grandfather's pig gun which is a Wichester Model 06 pump made in 1911. It is an heirloom that my Pap (word for grandfather in PA) gave to me when I was around 9 yrs old to be passed down and kept in the family. I've shot a few squirrels and cans with it but haven't shot it in probably 20 years.

Ruger1022BellCarlsonStock.jpg

I just finished putting this one together yesterday. The stock is a Classic Bell & Carlson with a .920" Barrel Channel. The Barrel is a Factory Carbine Barrel I had shortened & recrowned to 17" and attached a Green Mountain Aero Barrel Shroud with out the slots mounted to the barrel (this gives it the look of a bull barrel without the weight). It has had a complete trigger job and bolt work.

The scope is a Weaver 3x9x32mm AO Rimfire Special set in Weaver 1" High Quad Lock Scope Rings.

I have had this rifle for several years but recently decided to restock it with the Bell & Carlson Stock. I did have a bit of a problem in that the magazines would not drop free from with this stock. A little examination showed a ridge on the bottom of the magazine cut out on the right side of the stock. Once I filed that down flush the problem went away.

I'm gonna have to dig into the safe and pull out my RFs. I'm a little embarrassed by this, but I'm not exactly sure how many I have. I know I do have:
a 10/22, with a red dot and a folding stock,
a Remington 572 pump with a Bushnell 4x (I think)
a POS H&R (I know that's redundant) .22 Mag "autoloader" with an equally POS Tasco variable,
a Remington bolt with a tube magazine, not sure what model, and my favorite, even though I hardly shoot it,
a Remington Nylon 66 with an old 3/4" steel tube Weaver.
