I need to go shoot a bear, and an elk or two with that 220 gr Nosler. From the ol' .30-06 rifle. Or the new one... Maybe I'll finally draw that moose tag?

Guy

I hope so! (y)

I hear ya Charlie. There are Thousands of hunters trying for a few Washington moose tags every year.

Somehow I doubt I'll ever be drawn. If I really want to hunt moose, I'm going to have to apply to Idaho, or go to Alaska or Canada...

Yup...

Man, I'd love to see you get drawn for one of those hunts, though. I'm certain competition is fierce, however.

I really hope you can make it happen one way or another, nothing quite compares with it and you will love the meat too.......

Probably the easiest state to draw in Wyoming and they and Utah have large moose populations. At least they did 5 years ago when I was there hunting deer in the little Bighorn river drainage, just south of the Montana line.

Since drawing can be hard I looked at Alaska, mainland Canada, and Newfoundland. For the money and opportunities at a shot I found Newfoundland to be the best deal.

Good to know... BC is sooo close to me, that it's tempting. Short drive and I'm there!
