I have been reloading .223 using the .224 55g ct ballistic silver tip. I've had problems finding them on line or in Gander Mountain. Is Nosler still producing these bullets, does anybody know.

The 224 40 gr BST is still available. There is a lot of demand for this bullet, especially this time of year as the varmint hunters are gearing up for their season.
You might want to try Nosler's retail store, Shooters Pro Shop. 800 285 3701. You might be able to pick up some factory seconds at a great price.
